Virgil Ortiz is the Portage County TEA Party recommended candidate for the Democratic State Central Committee. He is committed to bringing back conservative values to the Ohio Democratic party. Here is his bio:
"I was born in St. Thomas US Virgin Islands and I came to Ohio in 1995 to attend Kent State University which I graduated from in 2000 with a degree in Aviation Technology. I currently work for Regional Elite Airlines a subsidary of Delta Airlines. I am a customer services manager representative there at The Akron Canton Airport. I am also a small business owner I own Patriotic Delivery LLC which handles passengers baggage from the airlines.
As a State Central Committeeman I plan on making a difference by taking care of everyones needs both localy and in Columbus. I plan on steering as much to Portage County and Summit County as possible to insure that we get what we deserve to recieve from the state and to make sure that we do not get short changed by anyones fault. I plan on listening and taking care of the people in this area. I have this vision and it is to insure this areas is well represented on the Democratic State Central Committee."
We ask that all Democrats in the 28 State Senate District, which includes all of Portage County and parts of Summit County from Tallmadge South to the Akron/Canton Airport, to vote for Virgil Ortiz on the May 4th Primary ballot.
